Chocolate Brownie Protein Loaf…….For those sweet cravings!

FlexFood “Featured Coach” Miriam Sunter has once again provided an absolute gem of a high protein sweet snack for you chocolate lovers!

This chocolate brownie protein loaf will not only give you that protein hit you need to keep you on track towards your targets but will also curb any sweet tooth cravings, ideal if you are on a diet!

 

Ingredients (Makes 8 portions)

  • 1 carton of black beans (drained – 230g after draining)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 7 tbsp chocolate whey protein (MyProtein Chocolate Brownie used here)
  • 3 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 75g maple syrup
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cocoa nibs

Steps

Combine all ingredients (excluding cocoa nibs) into a blender and blitz until smooth. Add to an 8×8 tin or a small loaf tin and add cocoa nibs on top. Bake in the oven for 16 minutes until you can slide a knife in and it comes out clean.

Leave on wire rack to cool and slice once cooled
